Ex-Playboy Model Collapses in Casino Hotel |
Anna Nicole Smith, the former playboy model
collapsed and died at a casino hotel in Florida. |
Anna Nicole Smith suffered a fatal collapse on
Thursday, 8th of February at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino
which is a centerpiece in the gambling world. |
Anna Nicole Smith is 39 years old. She married an
octogenarian billionaire after they met in a strip club. Smith was a
Texas waitress before she climbed into the top peaks of wealth and
sexual glamour. |
Smith has been staying at the hotel since Monday.
She was found unconscious in her hotel room and was taken to the
hospital at about 2 p.m EST and was found to be dead. |
"At 2:49 this afternoon, we were advised by
hospital personnel that Anna Nicole Smith had died. Our thoughts and
prayers go out to the family," Seminole Police Chief Charles Tiger told
a televised news conference. Tiger informed that her private nurse was
in the room and she had called for help. She had phoned the emergency
service. Before taking to the hospital, her body guard had tried to
give artificial respiration to her before the arrival of the
paramedics. |
The cause of the death is not clear. She was
reported to have been suffering from a fever since the previous night.
But the reason has been speculated to be a heart failure or a pulmonary
embolism. The cause for the death is expected to be determined after an
autopsy this week and will be determined by the Broward County Medical
examiner. It has been reported that she had said that she had been
suffering from depression; the reason for death may have been the
effect of the anti-depressants. Police is investigating her death, but
they are not treating it as a crime. Post Mortem examination will be
done. |
